Welcome to the Blog of a Stamp Addict with OCD tendencies.
I mainly make cards but I am straying off the page these days! I'm very lucky that I am a Design Team member for two challenges.
I'm happy when I have inky fingers and I love this crafty blog land! If you've popped by please leave a comment to let me know and I'll try to come visit you.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my recent
you are very kind and I really do appreciate it!
I hope everyone is warm, safe
and well today. We weren’t affected at
all by the winds from the storm that hit the UK.We had a lot of rain but that was it thankfully.I hope all my lovely blogging friends from
all over the county are safe, dry and warm.Sending hugs to those in need and I hope things improve for you soon.
I have had a bit of a busy
weekend making November’s TTTC creations and a card
for 7th November PCJ DT.I’ve also got a Guest DT Post for November.I have been mulling over ideas for the last
couple of days and finally have come up with an idea for something that will
not be a card.I hope it will look good
or else I’ll have to make a card but I really want to make something a little
different this time.
Anyways I have a card to show
you that I made for some challenges and here it is …
another male card for my mum's box
the pastel background that I have overstamped
side view - good for posting
a final look
have had my old pastel sticks out again.I think it's a winter landscape, at least I hope you all agree with me lol.I started off by laying down
shades of blue pastels for the sky, then shades of green for the grass/ground. After I stamped the scene in place I added
white to the sky to make it look like a really cold winter night, with the possibility of snow. Next I added white to all of the grass/ground. It doesn't have to be snow on the ground but it is at least crunchy with frost. Finally I added white to parts of the trees
and the tops of some of the plants.
I have started to clear up
the dining room.It is in a right old
mess in there and there is way too much stuff out that I have not used and
probably won’t use before Christmas.I
have started to put it away and oh it feels so good to be doing that!It will take me a couple of weeks at least to
get it all put away properly and I have a feeling that I did too much yesterday
because of how much my back hurts and aches today lol!
I actually have an area of A3
to work on right now – normally it’s a small square of my old cutting mat so
having a bit more room feels so good too!
Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Try to spend some time doing what you love to do –
know it makes you feel happy.
I hope I’ll be back soon to share a new creation with
http://craftascene.blogspot.co.uk/fowl weather. This is my first entry into one this challenge.I have made a snowy scene with some geese
flying off into the night – I think they are a bit late to be making their
migratory journey but I only thought of that after I had made the scene lol!
