Welcome to the Blog of a Stamp Addict with OCD tendencies.
I mainly make cards but I am straying off the page these days! I'm very lucky that I am a Design Team member for two challenges.
I'm happy when I have inky fingers and I love this crafty blog land! If you've popped by please leave a comment to let me know and I'll try to come visit you.
I hope you are had a lovely weekend and as the lovely
Darnell would say –
Whoosh we are back at the beginning of the week again.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my recent
you are very kind and I really do appreciate it!
I have been experimenting
with my stamps and other stuff and oh my I've had a lot of fun.I can’t show you everything today but I’ll
share them with you this week and let you know what I did and how I did it
lol!Anyways I have another card to show
you today and here it is …
C6 portrait card
the stamped and embossed panel
side view and a final look - good for posting!
week I inked up the brayer, worked the colour on my Splodgeaway mat and applied
the ink onto A4 Claritystamp paper.I
got some lovely pieces of autumnal oloured papers to use.I worked specifically to an autumn colour
allowed the paper to dry, approximately 15 seconds; I put some talcum powder
onto the paper, wiped the powder across with a large very soft paint brush and
then started to stamp the diamond pattern across the paper.Because the paper is semi glossy I had time
to stamp all the images and then add the embossing powder.Next time I will try a different way to do
this so that I match up much more neatly, OCD stamping issues, remember lol?
I love the way these have turned out.It
is as CAS as I will ever get.I know
that if I wanted it to be truly CAS I would not have added the ribbon, the
buckle or the bling. But it just didn’t
feel or look right without them.Oh well
baby steps when pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
I hope you are having a good day.
If you can try to spend some time doing what you love
even if it’s only for five minutes or so – it will be
worth it, I promise!
Thank you for visiting and commenting I really
