Welcome to the Blog of a Stamp Addict with OCD tendencies.
I mainly make cards but I am straying off the page these days! I'm very lucky that I am a Design Team member for two challenges.
I'm happy when I have inky fingers and I love this crafty blog land! If you've popped by please leave a comment to let me know and I'll try to come visit you.
Technique Time Tuesday Crew Smacked Acetate motivation ...
Hello lovely peeps!Hope you are having a good week? I’m here
today to remind you that there is still five days for you to join us over at our
Technique Time Tuesday challenge.I
followed the technique to make the background for another card.
Once again I used inks and a
flat acrylic block to make the background, again in quite bold colours but not
as bold as the card I showed last week.I can definitely admit that this time I do like it, I like it a lot lol,
now what do you all think …
148mm square scalloped card
my version of a mosaic pagoda
orchid paper flower
a final look
The ‘grid embellishment’ I
made many years ago with a grid peel off and tiny little peel off mosaic
squares.I adapted an embroidery chart
and came up with this sort of pagoda design.I do remember it took a while but I do think it’s quite pretty and it
goes perfectly with the paper.Another
one of the orchid flowers, still got some of them to use up, a little of ribbon
and a dragonfly brad – simples lol! There is an easy to follow
video over at the challenge, http://mynnettestechniquetuesday.blogspot.co.uk/,
so do come on over and play along with us – I can see this technique being
especially useful if you have a ‘particular’ embellishment and ifnone of your usual/hoarded papers or card
work with – make your own!
always thank you so much for visiting and commenting on my blog – I really do
appreciate it and I’ll try to get back to you soon too.I hope you’re having a good week.I will be back soon to share some more new
creations with you.
