Technique Time Tuesday February Challenge #5 Embedded Images ... ... ...

There's a new challenge at Technique Tuesday.  This month we are stamping – yippee yay!  A new technique for me to learn and, of course, I love it!  I have something a wee bit different to show you today and, shock horror lol, it’s not a card or a tag!
In fact I’m not 100% sure what I am going to make with my wee creation and as there’s no hurry so I will ponder on it for a while!
So please do pop over to the challenge to see what it is all about and to also see what my fabulous and talented crew mates have created too!

 2" square Stampbord

A final look.

I’m not sure if it is going to be a topper; a brooch; or a dangly key ring.  Anyone else got any ideas what I can do with it?  It’s made of Stampbord.

I had a real thing for Chipboard and ‘Stampbord’ for a long while and bought lots.  I put them in the crafty cupboard and only recently taken out to play with.  Along with my inks and stamps lol.
I have used three stamps on this piece and have detailed my order of working below.
You need to pop over to the blog to see the in-depth and very easy tutorial http://mynnettestechniquetuesday.blogspot.co.uk/.
My order of working:
1. Ink tile edges with the palest blue ink, dry;
2. stamp flourish darker blue, dry;
3. stamp fairies brown,  dry;
4. follow the rest of the tutorial at Technique Time Tuesday!

Warning: I found out that if you hold your heat tool too close to the Stampbord it will bubble up and pop lol.  Thankfully I was able to hide, errm no, I was able to fix my mistake!

I hope you will come and play with us this month!  It’s a fabulous technique and I am having fun playing with my embossing powders and my UTEE plus a new technique.  You don’t have to have UTEE to do this technique – I have, errm, a rather large stash of UTEE that I am trying to make a dent in!
I won’t be around much this week my usual issue has flared again which  means little crafty play and minimal time on the computer – ho hum just another day in the life of a fibromyalgia sufferer!
I hope you are all well and get time to play with your stash this week.  I have another post scheduled for tomorrow – another DT project and I hope to do a little bit of visiting and commenting on your lovely blogs too.

This is very cool Karen! I think it would make a great broach or keychain! Or be a great addition to a card or tag. So many possibilities! :) I hope you feel better soon. :)
