Another batch of Christmas cards ... ... ...

I have a large pile of left over’s and scraps from the Christmas cards and Crew/Design Team projects.  So I am slowly working my way through using up as much of the scraps  as possible before I can have a ‘shop your stash’ session at the end of this month, hopefully they will all be used up by then!
Today I’m here to show you some cards I’ve made from different size scraps of gold mirror card.  Because I had quite a few pieces of this card I’ve made a small batch of four for my mum – one A6 size and three of the small square shaped cards.
I purchased this embossing folder from some money that I got for Christmas.  I do love these embossing folders, because I adore the depth and texture they give.  You can make cards quickly and either make them CAS or add loads to them.  I’m attempting to make some thin ones for mum so that she doesn’t have to pay for the extra postage.  I’m playing a lot with my embossing folders and coming up with more ideas of using them.  It’s funny that I have not used my Christmas embossing folders for a while but I vowed that I would make quite a few minimal depth cards this year, we need to pay less postage costs this year!

I’m sorry that these photographs are not too good.  I’ve found out that photographing mirror card is a nightmare, but I think you can see the embossed pattern!

Popped by to see your lovely cards, but my computer is refusing me the images. Oh well, I try to drop by tomorrow. Was up mailing a crochet company that they hadn't sent enough material to make my socks. Hate that! I really wanted to finish them of today, well tonight as i can't sleep. Soon 02,30 in the morning here in Sweden. Later on today time to make some cards again. Take care sweetie
Love n hugs

These are stunning cards - you're right, embossing folders work so well with mirror card and give a texture without too much depth, just right to avoid the extra postage charges - thanks for entering both of my CHNC challenges - hope to see you again soon. x
