Afternoon everyone! I’m here today to show you a card I made and
stamped but forgot to colour until this weekend lol!! Also I can let you know my news too – you’ll
just have to wait a bit!
I found a stamped Sheena Douglass ‘A Little Bit Sketchy’ image on white card which had not been coloured. So I coloured with Distress inks. When I’m colouring like this I feel the tension in my shoulders and neck dissipate. In fact any colouring seems to relax me these days, not just landscape colouring – which is a very positive thing! I still get nervous and fret over whether my characters are properly coloured. I hope that with time and practise that I won’t worry quite so much – only time will tell lol!
I want to enter the following challenges:

Now for my news lol!
There was a recent Design Team call at Paper
Crafting Journey, http://paper-craftingjourney.blogspot.co.uk/. Anyways I thought nothing ventured, nothing gained! So I put my name in the pot, so to speak lol!
2013 New Year it’s time to start believing in myself. I'm one of four new members of the Paper Crafting Journey Challenge blog Design Team!
This week there is an Anything Goes challenge
so please do pop on over to see what the lovely and talented DT has created and play
along with us please!
I start at the beginning of February. Hopefully time enough to get
over this bug/virus. As well as time to
practise my character colouring! I’m
really looking forward to working with the lovely ladies and they’ve all been
super welcoming too!
When I started my blog, about
20 months ago now, I never thought I would ‘a’ blog and ‘b’ be on
Design Teams!
But as I’ve said 2013 is the year
that I need to start to believe in myself.
I want to say a huge Thank you everyone that
follows and comments – you have given me confidence to start to believe in
myself and in my creations – words cannot express how much this has means to me!
I hope you are having a fabulous week
Thank you very much for taking the time to visit and
comment on my blog

Hi Karen, do you know I could've sworn I'd commented on your post already! But I can't see me, so I must've read and run - how rude!!
So here I am saying what I should've said before - it's a fab card and your colouring of the image is wonderful. I've a few of these type stamps (won them) and, to be honest, I can't get to grips with them - not my type of image at all. If I could make them look like this, I would use them!! Fab card as well, lovely papers and layout.
And huge congrats on the DT post - you'll be an asset to them.
Sarah
