Christmas Card for Bethan #1 ... ... ...

Unusually I’m happy I didn’t have time to show my last creations before Christmas!

My back has, at the moment, completely given up!  I’ve no chance of making anything right now.  I’ve had to let Mynnette and Ellen know that I can’t sit upright so I'm not able to make the next Technique Tuesday project right now!

All offers of healing waves and cuddles accepted lol and 'thank you very much' for the get well wishes they are greatly appreciated!  Thankfully I’m not ill!  But it has now become a major issue because of the ruddy fibromyalgia.  I'm having a bad flare - the back pain is unbearable so much so that I'm exhausted and this worsens the RA too.

Enough whining and stuff, I’m here to show you another Christmas card.  I love this one and it seemed to be well appreciated too!  I’ll be back with another post later with my five favourite 2012 Christmas and my five favourite 2012 general cards.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
http://letscreatechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ Buttons - I love using buttons in the middle of flowers! My third and final entry this week!
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ you can enter with a Christmas card you have not yet blogged about or a Christmas card for 2013 - this is my second entry.
http://paper-craftingjourney.blogspot.co.uk/ Anything Goes - this is my third entry.
http://challenges4everybody.blogspot.co.uk/ #10 Anything Goes - third and final entry.
http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ #47 Christmas

Anyways enough moaning and explaining from me, here is the card I made from me and DH for Bethan … … …

Final look

I had a real ‘thing’ for making these wreaths on our Christmas cards this year!  I want to do different designs next year and will definitely be using different colours too.  I don’t think I had a specific colour scheme this year, just used what I felt like.  No doubt you will all be aware that Bethans favourite colour is shades of purple.  I don’t normally use much purple but I had a lovely time using it on the Christmas cards and I’m planning on using it more in my future creations.

Another fabulous ‘stash’ buster of a card!  I’ve used two different types of purple fabric flowers that have been in my stash for ages.  The white flowers are from Prima and they’re gorgeous too, in fact so gorgeous that they were hidden in my craft unit, only to be used if I had gone through my previously ‘shopped stash’ lol!  I haven’t gone completely UIU – I’m still hoarding some of my favourites!

I hope you are having a good Christmas and a really lovely week wherever you are.  I hope you are safe, dry and warm.

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog
I really do appreciate it!
Once I can sit upright for more than 10 minutes I'll be visiting you all too!
